hi Xavier..
I had a similar problem running the this code. After entering the username and password the widget gets stalled on this message
"Fetching messages from Twitter
(be patient, Twitter can be slow !)"

So How do I inline the widget ??

Eric: are you inlining the widget? Authentication won't work in standalone mode, for instance. See the last section, "Testing the authentication".

The part 4 of the Twitter widget doesn't work for me after entering my username/password nothing happen. It seems something is wrong with the getAuthentication() method. This other twitter module http://www.netvibes.com/subscribe.php?module=Twitter works fine for me.
