New version of the UWA cheat-sheet

Update: there is now a definitive URL for the UWA cheat-sheet.

Three folded UWA cheatsheetsWith Ginger, we’ve improved a lot of things about Netvibes: not only the start-page itself and its relationship to the Ecosystem, but also internal components, among them not least being UWA.

Among these was a small project that we knew was very useful within its niche, but that we couldn’t find the time to bring up to speed with the rest: the UWA cheat-sheet, which was first released as flat, printable PDF in November 2007, as a preview.

Now that the Ginger and Netvibes.org dust is settling down, we are releasing a greatly improved version of this cheat-sheet. It features all of UWA’s JavaScript methods, properties and events, along with a few sample code: the full set of preference tags, and a fully-working sample widget on the last page. New methods/properties since the previous version are also clearly indicated.

And, last but not least, it’s now foldable! We’ve always wanted to do it this way, and thanks to a better design, it all fits perfectly!

So go grab your free printable PDF!
- UWA cheat-sheet in english
- La cheat-sheet en version française

The PDF is two-pages long, so that you can print both sides of a sheet of paper with it, and fold it in three. You should be quickly the same result as the one on the picture above.
