Universal Widget API
A widget is a small application running on a platform, allowing its users to access external content on their personal page.
UWA has been designed to be easy and portable. It is built upon know Web standards, and works on all the major widget platforms: Netvibes, iGoogle, Windows Vista, Live.com, Apple Dashboard, iPhone, etc.

Netvibes opens its data through publicly available APIs. These APIs let developers:
