Netvibes is hiring 2 web developers to work on UWA, the widget technology from Netvibes.

\\

Curious and self-motivated, you'll develop and maintain things like:
  * adapters for different widget platforms
  * connectors to various services and applications
  * UI bricks, elements of the user interface
  * technology extensions, new features & plugins

\\

You should know:
  * Web standards (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/DOM/XML)
  * Javascript development and Javascript frameworks (like prototype.js, MooTools, jQuery, dojo, Yahoo! UI)

\\

Experience or interest in the following topics is a welcome plus:
  * Widgets standards, web & desktop (W3C, Dashboard, Vista and others)
  * Web APIs (REST) and web authentication protocols (OpenID, oAuth)
  * XML technologies (XSTL, RelaxNG, namespaces)
  * Semantic web, microformats
  * UI and Web design, advanced CSS
  * Social networks & platforms (like Facebook)

Job is based in Paris, France.

Foreign candidates welcome (French/English environment).
