Netvibes is hiring 2 web developers to work on UWA, the widget technology from Netvibes.

Curious and self-motivated, you'll develop and maintain things like:

• adapters for different widget platforms
• connectors to various services and applications
• UI bricks, elements of the user interface
• technology extensions, new features & plugins

You should know:

• Web standards (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/DOM/XML)
• Javascript development and Javascript frameworks (like prototype.js, MooTools, jQuery, dojo, Yahoo! UI)

Experience or interest in the following topics is a welcome plus:

• Widgets standards, web & desktop (W3C, Dashboard, Vista and others)
• Web APIs (REST) and web authentication protocols (OpenID, oAuth)
• XML technologies (XSTL, RelaxNG, namespaces)
• Semantic web, microformats
• UI and Web design, advanced CSS
• Social networks & platforms (like Facebook)

Job is based in Paris, France.

Foreign candidates welcome (French/English environment).
